Chicken and Broccoli

Cost: About 25 Shekels (US Dollar 7)

500 g chicken breast in small cubes

1 broccoli cut into smaller pieces

Marinade:

2 tablespoons oil

1 tablespoon Soy Sauce

1 Tablespoon water

1 teaspoon sugar

½ teaspoon baking powder

1 tablespoon corn starch

1 clove garlic minced

Sauce:

¼ cup Soy Sauce

2 tablespoons Sugar

2 tablespoons flour

1 tablespoon white wine

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon oil

½ cup water

Mix the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl and add the chicken to the mix. Mix well and put on the side for 15 minutes.

Cook the broccoli for about 2 minutes. Rinse with cold water and put on the side.

Fry the chicken with the marinade for about 5 minutes until it is done. Mix up all the ingredients for the sauce and add to the chicken. Cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens a bit.

Serve with rice.
