Grilled Polenta

Cost: About NIS 5

1 cup corn flour
4 cups water
Salt
Parmesan cheese – optional

Mix the corn flour, salt and water in a pot and place on low heat. Cook for 3-4 minutes while stirring until it thickens. If you make it with cheese, stir it into the mix at this point. Pour the mix into an oiled form and let cool for a few hours until it gets hard.
Heat a grill pan with a bit of oil. Cut the polenta into squares and fry for a few minutes on each side.
Serve with salad.
