Potato and Sweet Potato Bake

Cost: About 20 Shekels (6 US Dollars)

Butter

3 medium sized potatoes peeled and in cubes

1 medium sized sweet potato peeled and in cubes

½ onion diced

Muscat nut, salt and pepper

1 container cottage cheese (250 ml)

½ container cream (125 ml)

3 eggs

100 g grated cheese

Fry the onion in a bit of butter for a few minutes until soft. Add the cubes of potato and sweet potato and fry with the onion for another 5-8 minutes.

In a separate bowl mix the cheeses, eggs and cream. Add a bit of grated Muscat nut and also salt and pepper. Mix in the vegetables and pour everything into a ovenproof dish and bake for about 40 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
