Hi, I am Veronica and I am addicted to my phone. Ok, maybe not addicted, but I am definitely using it a lot! It is normally near me even when I sleep and when I am awake I check it more frequently than I should. On the other hand, I love to be without it and if my family is with me, I like to leave it behind.
It makes me sound really old but I remember the (good old) days when there were no cell phones meaning that you could only talk to someone if they were home. I remember making plans with girlfriends where we had to wait for each other in very specific places at the scheduled time.
Then came the cell phone and suddenly we are available everywhere all the time. It gives great freedom but can also be very stressful – especially when we are available for things like work all the time.
With the smart phones comes very smart (!) applications and some of them are actually helpful. In the field of money management there are many apps, Moneylover being one of them. What you do is write all of your incomes and expenses into the app as soon as they enter or exit your account/credit card/ wallet and it gives a great track record of where your money goes.
Just something small that can turn out very helpful in the long run J

If you own an iPhone you should also check out WellSpent. I’ve enjoyed how simple, easy-to-use, and inexpensive this app is: love.wellspentapp.com
