I have never been a huge fan of second hand things. Some of my best friend do and I have even spent hours in flea markets and vintage shops. I have never though bought any second hand piece of clothing before – that means, before now…..
What can I do? I like new 🙂
Lately though, I have seen more and more second hand clothes shops pop up in my local community and I have to admit that it got me curious. So a few weeks back I went to one of those second hand shops. After all, I live according to a budget and that includes the clothing part as well, so why not go see if there are money to be saved by buying second hand?
So what is the verdict? A really nice shop with a lot of nice clothes, shoes and accessories. Actually more varied than any other clothes shop because the clothes come from all over, very good quality and good prices. I got myself a dress and have actually worn it several times since buying it.
Definitely not the last time I am doing that and will also check out the other shops in the area.
Second hand clothing stores are very popular overseas and many rebranded as vintage stores. Good to see the movement growing in ISR.
Another good thing about it is the fact that it is recycling!
