It was a beautiful day today. Perfect for a perfect Saturday at home and in the Garden. Spring is certainly in the air and so we decided to spend some hours working in the garden and for that purpose exactly I went with the oldest to the garden center.
I just love it there, all the flowers and all the plants always makes me dream for a big garden with all kinds of vegetables and flowers. Our mission was some grass seeds specifically but on the way we saw some pretty flowers on sale and that made me think of this project that I have been thinking about doing for a while – painting flower pots.
We happened to already have a few terracotta pots and some left over paint so regarding the materials, I didn’t buy anything and just used what we already had at home. In my opinion, that is the best way 🙂
So what we did was to take three smallish terracotta pots. painting brushes, painting tape and paint, of course. With just three colors we went for minimalistic today, another time I would like to try to be more adventurous….
But all in all, a fun project with the kids that makes to entrance look pretty and just NIS 15 (USD 3.5) for the flowers.
