One small pea….

February 8, 2015 By: veronicacomment

garden-diyThis week be picked our very first peas…ever! And that is not even all; we have radishes, carrots and even a few strawberries coming 🙂

We are really not garden people but are trying to learn how to. This garden has been in the planning for years and although it still on a very small scale for us this is the first step on the way to something bigger.

As I have written before, one of our goals is financial freedom with self- sufficiency (or at least partly) being a part of that. Things  may change along the way but to at least give it a fair chance to succeed. So in that context our little vegetable garden is one small additional step on our journey and if we can can fun along the way and have tasty vegetables also that is great too!
