What’s for Dinner – Shavuot Edition

June 1, 2014 By: veronicacomment

meal plan shavuot

Until I met and married Dear Husband (who happens to be born and raised in Switzerland) I had no idea how good cheese can be and how it could be that I lived so many years to find out!

The holiday of Shavuot is full of cheese and therefore also, my opinion, the most tasty of the Jewish Holidays. On top of the cheese there are lots of baked goods, salads and vegetables and (cheese) 🙂

In the spirit of Shavout, here are ideas for dishes based on dairy for this week:

Spinach Quiche with Cheese
Pasta with Salmon and Cream Sauce
Potato and Sweet Potato Bake
Beetroot Salad with Feta Cheese and Mint
Mushroom Stew with Bread

And something sweet: Cream Cake with Chocolate Frosting

Happy Holidays!
